A former 18th century coaching inn, originally part of the Earl of Ancasters Welsh estate, this comfortable, family run guest house is full of historic character.

Resting in the centre of the Dolwyddelan, Elens Castle offers a unique place to relax at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

Retaining its original character and many fittings, Elen’s Castle has ensuite guestrooms to suittastes, including a four-poster room overlooking the Lledr Valley and River, a family suite and accommodation to suit walking groups. We have a cosy bar and guest loungeyou can enjoy a drink by the wood burning stove after a day in the stunning scenery of Snowdonia.

Elens Castle has a Tesla charger and a type 2 Electric Car charger. It has a Green Tourism award recognising its minimal impact on the Snowdonia National Park, and an award for promoting local produce, as it serves Welsh gin, vodka and craft ale.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:30.

All guests must notify the property prior to arrival if they intend on bringing their dog.

Three-Bedroom Suite. This suite has a single room, a double room and a room with a bunk bed. It sleeps a maximum of 5. It has an en suite bathroom with a shower. ;
